Day 1: Athens (Lavrion)
Athens, one of the world’s oldest and most vibrant cities, is dense with ancient monuments, museums, galleries, cafes and shops. Wander through Plaka to the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum or take a tour at the Temple of Poseidon, at Cape Sounion where you can admire the view of the Saronic Gulf.

Day 2: Thessaloniki
Thessaloniki is the second biggest city of Greece and perhaps the prettiest one. It is here that Apostle Pavlos founded the first church whose ruins can be found close to the Arch of Galerius and St. George’s Rotonda. Visit the 5th century Basilica of St. Demetrius, the largest church of Greece or go to the Byzantine Museum and the “White Tower”, an excellent example of post-Byzantine architecture.

Day 3: Kavala, Greece
Kavala, the biblical Neapolis, is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of Mt. Symvolo and is one of the most picturesque cities in Greece. Just outside the city, at Philippi, Saint Paul preached his first sermon in Europe and also baptized the first Christian in Europe, “a woman named Lydia”. The prison where Saint Paul and Silas were held can also be visited.

Day 4: Istanbul, Turkey
In Istanbul, East meets West and people, cultures and history blend magically. The city is home to Hagia Sofia, the Greek Patriarchate, the Blue Mosque, the Topkapi palace and the gardens of Sultanahmet Square. Visit the Grand Bazaar which consists of 61 covered streets but make sure you leave time for a cruise from Europe to Asia across the historic Bosporus.

Day 5: Dikili, Turkey
Dikili is just a short drive from ancient Ephesus and the Terrace Houses and the House of Virgin Mary. You can visit Acropolis which is part of the ancient town Pergamon and then the Red Basilica which is one of the largest Roman structures still surviving from the Ancient Greek World. You will be doing your Mass here before visiting Asclepieion Ancient City.

Day 6: Kusadasi, Turkey
Kusadasi is a beach resort in Turkey famous for its marina and its colorful bazaar where visitors can find a wide selection of hand-made carpets, leather bags and local products. But mostly, Kusadasi is known due to its proximity to the ancient ruins of Ephesus, and its Terrace Houses one of the world’s largest open-air museums, the House of Virgin Mary and the Sirince Village.

Day 7: Patmos, Greece - Syros, Greece
Patmos is a beautiful verdant island, where Saint John the Evangelist wrote the book of Revelations in a mountainside Grotto, after hearing the voice of God. Atop its highest hill, within the halls of Hora stands the monastery founded in his honor in 1088. This island apart from its great significance to Christians all over the world, is now turning into a cosmopolitan destination. Syros is the capital of Cyclades and once the center of all trade activities. You can still see and admire the mansions built by the island’s bankers, merchants and ship owners. Ermoupolis is a beautiful city with cobbled streets, two hills, the orthodox and the catholic one staring at each other and a magnificent central square that is definitely worth visiting.

Is airfare included in programs? Can I book my international flight through you?
Our packages do not include airfare to/from the trip start point. You can purchase your airfare tickets through the internet or a wholesaler. By booking your own flight, you have more flexibility and control of your choices - in real time.
What type of accommodation do we use?
TSC Travel use hotels situated at excellent locations and close to all amenities. Room types range from double rooms to junior suites, depending on the package of choice. Amenities and facilities may differ from those in South America, North America, Australia or Malaysia.
What type of transportation is used on tours?
TSC Travel utilize a variety of transportation methods including public and private minivans, cars, coaches, trains, flights, ferries, boats, etc. We use whichever method provides travellers with the safest and most efficient transportation option.
